Brainstorming Needed

I'm having a major problem finding a reception facility that is reasonably priced, large enough to accommodate the number of people I anticipate and available on December 1. I've called several churches (First West, North Monroe Baptist, Parkview Baptist, St. Paul's, Lea Joyner, FUMC, Covenant Pres), country clubs, restaurants, King's Palace, Grand Plaza, and The Atrium. Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm getting desperate.

Have you tried the Carolyn Rose Strauss Senior Center? Donna Branson was able to book it for Kat's wedding reception and Jonathan's welcome home party since she has connections through Weight Watchers. You might ask her about it.

What about Austin's. It's were Allen and Casey had their reception. It's not ideal (with the spiral staircase) but it's a really cool old building.

Thanks for the tips. I actually booked the first floor of the Vantage Health Care building today. I was running out of options and starting to panic. It's not awesome, but I think it will work out well.

That should be nice, Christin. Way to go. I've never been in, but it has history (http://vantageonbtower.com/history.php) and a reputation for class, with the Lotus Club, etc. And how many 12-story buildings are there in Monroe?

Will they provide the tables and such or is that up to you? It looks nice though, good job on making the decision. I'm proud of you:)

Yes, they provide tables & chairs and will set them up/take them down.
